ODM Pilates Equipment — Our Design, Your Brand
ODM is for buyers who want a finished, tested product without carrying the design burden. Megacore’s engineers develop the reformer platform, handle the tooling and prove the design, and you launch it under your own brand. It suits fitness brands, importers and distributors who care about speed to market and want a machine that already works rather than a blank sheet. This page explains how ODM differs from OEM, what we develop on your behalf, and how the design-to-production process runs.
What ODM Means in Practice
In an ODM arrangement, Megacore owns the underlying design and manufacturing method, and you license it for your market under your brand. We keep improving the platform, so your product benefits from ongoing engineering rather than a frozen one-off design.
You still control branding, finish, configuration and packaging. What you do not have to manage is frame geometry, spring calculations, carriage tolerances and the trial-and-error of a brand-new design.
- Ready platforms you can brand and launch quickly
- Engineering, tooling and testing handled by Megacore
- Your logo, finish and packaging applied to the existing design
- Design licensed per product line and market
ODM vs OEM: Where the Difference Shows
The practical difference is who owns the design and who takes on development risk. OEM buyers arrive with a specification; ODM buyers arrive with a market and a brand.
Most first-time brand owners should start with ODM and move to OEM once they know exactly what they want to change.

The ODM Journey: Requirements to Delivery
ODM still runs through the same disciplined sequence as OEM, starting with requirements confirmation and ending with shipping. The difference is that we produce the drawings and sample plan on your behalf.
You approve the sample, we run mass production, and pre-shipment inspection confirms the batch before it leaves the factory.

Engineering Support You Can Lean On
Our team supports both the first sample and the changes that come after real-world feedback. If a carriage feels wrong or a spring set is too light for your market, we adjust it.
We keep changes documented so that repeat orders stay consistent. That matters when you reorder months later and need the same feel.
- Frame and carriage tolerances set for daily commercial use
- Spring and rope configuration tuned to your classes
- Upholstery and foam choices reviewed for durability
- Change records kept so repeat orders match the approved sample
Branding Elements You Control
Everything your customer sees can carry your brand. We work from your logo files and brand guidelines to keep the finish consistent across machines, boxes and paperwork.
If you do not yet have artwork for packaging, tell us and we will advise on what is needed before the print run.
- Frame plates, decals or embroidered branding
- Powder-coat finish matched to your palette
- Retail-ready cartons with your design
- Manuals and warranty cards in your brand voice
- Custom serial numbers for your inventory tracking
Launching a Private Label Line
Most private label programs start with a small first order to validate the market, then scale. We quote both so you can see how the numbers change with volume.
The workflow mirrors our standard production sequence, with your branding applied before packing.

Private Label, OEM and ODM Compared
These three sit on a spectrum from least to most development work. Private label is the lightest, ODM sits in the middle, and OEM gives the most control when you bring your own specification.
If your priority is launching quickly with minimal risk, private label on a proven platform is usually the right starting point.

What Private Label Covers
With private label, the machine is a standard Megacore platform and the entire customer-facing identity is yours. The buyer never has to know the factory behind it unless you choose to tell them.
Because nothing structural changes, the product, its testing and its warranty stay identical to the model you selected. That keeps quality predictable across reorders.
- Your logo on frame, carriage and accessories
- Branded cartons, manuals, warranty cards and inserts
- Your model naming and SKU structure
- Consistent product across reorders
Gyakran feltett kérdések
In ODM, Megacore engineers design the product and you apply your brand, so development effort sits with us. In OEM, you bring the specification or drawings and we manufacture to that spec. ODM is faster for a first product; OEM gives more control once you know exactly what you want.
The underlying design and tooling stay with Megacore, and you license it for your market and brand. You fully own your branding, your packaging artwork and your customer relationships. If you need sole ownership of a design, we can discuss an OEM development project instead.
Yes, within the tested limits of the platform. Cosmetic and configuration changes are straightforward; structural changes need engineering review and usually a new sample. We will always tell you if a requested change affects safety, load rating or warranty. Every approved change is documented so repeat orders stay identical.
Send us your target market, the class style you train, an indicative volume and your branding assets. We will propose a platform, a customization scope and factory pricing, then move to a branded sample once you are happy with the direction.
